Private ancillary fund service

A private ancillary fund (PAF) is a type of charitable trust.  It exists for the purpose of providing grants to eligible charities over time, and is an efficient, satisfying and tax effective way to put a structure around your philanthropy.

PAF Establishment Service

Australian Philanthropic Services makes setting up a PAF easy and cost effective. To start the process, all you need to do is complete a simple establishment form and we do the rest.  We will:

  • Arrange the incorporation of the trustee company.
  • Prepare the PAF deed and supporting documentation.
  • Manage all approvals with the ATO and ACNC.

PAF Administration Service

The administration service provided by APS is a one-stop-shop for PAFs, including all accounting, governance and compliance requirements.  This includes:

  • All ongoing administration and compliance.
  • Preparation of accounts.
  • Facilitation of annual audit.
  • Running trustee meetings.
  • Reporting to the ATO and ACNC.
  • Grantmaking support.
  • Access to our 24/7 online portal.

We don’t manage the investments in your PAF.  You or your trusted adviser can manage the investments without the hassle of worrying about administration and compliance.
